So your saying that you have no rear channel. Some recivers use a single stereo output ic for both sides on the rear speakers. you could have a defect with this IC . Anther thing Im sure you check3ed the obvious ie : the switch is on suround sound? If there is a front to rear fader is it in the middle? Good Luck

Hi there. If you are running a 5.1 speaker system, make sure your surround speakers are on the surround terminal NOT ON THE SURROUND BACK. the surround back is only for the 7.1 speaker system.

According to the owners manual, the "Economy" mode is designed to reduce the temperature setting by 2 degrees every hour. May not be what you were expecting... On the too hot issue: Check the thermostat setting - it can read either Celsius or Farenheit - Make sure you are setting it to what you think you are... Recommendation: if it is heating higher than set temperature is 1) set the temp lower and see how it does or 2) call a repair man to check and calibrate the thermostat.

There are several 'types' of electric air heaters. Some have solid-state control boards, others, bi-metalic strip, and open contacts. The most simple is a bi-metalic strip and an adjustment knob for the temperature. Turn knob to lowest setting, plug unit in, turn knob to full, then when room is comfortable, then adjust knob until you hear a click. now system will cycle on - off keeping the room at the temperature you set.

What is the best speaker volume settings for 5.1 system my receiver is Yamaha rx-v430 and room size is 15x20

As this receiver does not have automatic speaker calibration, you need to set the volumes manually. The best is if the left and right speakers are at the same distance from you (then their volumes can be equal). If one speaker is at more distance than the other, the volume must be higher for this speaker.
You can find instruction for volume setting at p. 21 of your receiver manual. There you can also find settings of the speaker mode - that depends on the specific speakers you have. You can define for each of 5 speakers if they are Large/Small/None (on this setting depends where will be the lowest bass tones directed).

Why does my dehumidifier run al the time ,i have the humidity set at 45 and when the room temperaturegoes down to 55 it keeps running.

The 45% setting is too low and the setting is never satisfied, so the unit keeps running to try and reach 45%. Try setting to 50 or 55, this is a very comfortable range. I was not clear on the room temperature being at 55 degrees. Is this what your thermostat is set to or is this the actual room temperature. Brrrrrrrrrrrr

What is the best locxation for 901 series v1

Optimal placement of these like speakers of any design will vary depending on room dimensions and your listening distance from them.

A good place to start with them would be the same distance apart from each speaker as they are from the listening position. In that position they should also be placed closer to a rear wall than any side wall, approximately half that distance.

Try bigger ISO-setting (in a well lit room 400-600 and darker even 1600). Also try to fix the exposure according to the darker parts of the room.

This question has already been asked, but I am still unsure .I own a flat with a Dimplex night store heater. It has two dials. One is 'Room Temp Boost' and the other is 'Input'. 'Input' is obviously the...

it does not relate to the time of day it relates to the temp in the room
as you know most heaters do not run continuously, they cycle on ambiant temp.
the boost setting is actually tweeaking that cycle,
you are actually setting the vairence in the temp setting
each modle is slightly differant but

here is an example

9 late boost, might let the temp differential drop as low as 25 degrees
1 early boost might only allow a 2 degree differential
