Question about Microsoft Office Professional 2007 Full Version for PC

Word 2007 Bibliography doesn't work

I've been trying to use the bibliography feature in Word 2007 but it keeps telling me "Invalid source specified" after I enter a reference. This would be a great feature if it would work.

Does anyone know why it won't work? I've tried re-installing Office 2007 and it still won't work. I'm using Vista, if that makes a difference.

Hi there,

This often happens if you have more than one installation of Office on your computer, and they are slightly different versions. You will need to uninstall the previous version of Office if you can and then try the activation again. Do you by any chance have a non-professional version loaded on your computer right now?

If that isn't the case a lot of times if it doesn't work, you will need to call microsoft and activate it over the phone.

This link should give you some more information of what you are looking for to call the center to get the activation approved:

I have a notebook and I need to install Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 nd I have a product key but it keeps coming up invalid. I received the disc from my school

Did that product key come with the disc when you got it? If so, the key should work unless you're typing something wrong when you enter the it. Be careful because it's easy to mix up 0 (zero) and O (letter o), B (letter b) and 8 (eight) and some other pairs. You might just be making the same typo each time. If this is a legitimate key for your product you might be able to get some help from Microsoft. This page explains how to contact their activation site.

If your school supplied the disc as part of Microsoft's academic software program, you should have received a key. Check with the contact person at your school, usually your teacher or someone in the Information Technology department.

If you're trying to use a key for Office 2007 from some other source, you probably have a key meant for some other version then Enterprise. Keys only work on specific versions. If this is the case, you can only fix the trouble by using a legitimate key. Unfortunately, you can't get keys for Office 2007 from MS now because they want you to buy Office 2010. You may still be able to find copies locally or online.

You can also download and install OpenOffice, a 100% free alternative office suite. Unless your school requires Microsoft Office because of some unique function, OpenOffice will give you the same features, and you don't need to worry about keys or activation.

Check with your friend if the product key given to you is an Office 2007 Professional retail version if its OEM Key then you will not able to use the key u should download the setup files from the link which would be provided by the OEM.
