Question about Microsoft Office Professional 2007 Full Version for PC

Word 2007 Bibliography doesn't work

I've been trying to use the bibliography feature in Word 2007 but it keeps telling me "Invalid source specified" after I enter a reference. This would be a great feature if it would work.

Does anyone know why it won't work? I've tried re-installing Office 2007 and it still won't work. I'm using Vista, if that makes a difference.

How to write a mini bibliography

Following is the definition:
A bibliography is a list of writings by an author, such as the lengthy bibliography of Joyce Carol Oates, or a list of writings someone uses in a project, like the bibliographyat the end of a research paper. Bibliography comes from the Greek word biblio, or "book," and graphos, which is "something written or drawn."
Mini just means "small".
so........... A mini bibliography about Vehicle Care & Maintenance could be as simple as:
- the owners manual and
- Haynes Manual

I want to write a mini bibliography research I do not have an idea how to start

A bibliography is simply a list that is typically found in the appendix of a reference book. The author of the book would have used a number of other publications and sources for the research before putting the results into order and presenting it into a readable form.
The bibliography is a list of those books, publications and other sources.

I am not sure what is difficult about making a list?

What is the different between reference list and bibliography

The reference list is for listing the source of info used in a written work. A bibliography is a listing of information sources used for information for the written work whose content is not used the in that work. In an example, "Using the 5/8" box end wrench, remove the fastener." printed in a book and then used verbatim in the written work, would be referenced. But the book read that has that sentence would be bibliographed.

How can i be a expert in term paper writing?

When presenting facts, opinions and conclusions in a term paper, students must rely on existing research from external sources.

The sources used in the term paper must be credible and give authority to the student's viewpoint.

The student must document each source in the paper to allow others to read more on the particular subject and to verify the reliability of the source.

Review reference materials.
Determine if the author of the source is qualified by reviewing the author's education, writing experience and professional memberships.

Obtain a biography of the author, if available.
Examine the copyright or publication date and the material to know whether the publication reflects the current approach, policy or law on your subject.

Determine if the source is scholarly or is of general, popular interest. Scholarly journals contain a bibliography or reference list and are reviewed by other experts and scholars in the field before being published.

General interest or popular magazines are often presented in news format with illustrations and do not contain a bibliography or reference list.

Read through academic book reviews to find out how the book has been evaluated by peers and others.

Keep a working bibliography of the sources you use and include all relevant information such as author, publication title and date, publisher, website and any other pertinent information.

Use this list to create the bibliography that will be included at the end of your work.
Refer to the citation style requested by your professor to properly format the entries contained in your bibliography. http://www.lib.berkeley.edu/instruct/guides/evaluation.html

How to write a bibliography for school projects?

A biblio is a list of references that you used, and there is a standard format, see here

http://www.sac.sa.edu.au/Library/Library/Bibliography/bibliography.htm

I would not think you will need a long list, but it is good form to acknowledge the sources of your information, perhaps 2-3 textbooks and an encyclopaedia. A lot of teachers don't like Wikepedia as a reference.

Hi David,

As per what I understand from your comment , you don't need a footnote but a number which would reflect the reference in the bibliography.

In Msoffice word 2007 we can easily generate a bibliography based on the source information we provide , this has really helped me , I believe it will be helpful to you as well , for more information , please visit this link :- http://bit.ly/mgIC2p

I hope this helps ...:) your feedback would be appreciated.
