I read that Apple is recalling millions of iPhone 3G power adapter, how can I know if I need to take my power adapter to Apple?

The bad adapters were supplied with iPhone 3G's bought in the United States, Japan, Canada, Mexico and several Latin American countries. If you bought your iPhone 3G in one of these countries, you have a bad adapter.

You have two options to change your ultracompact Apple USB power adapter
The first is to order throw Apple's website, the new adapter, and the second one is to go to an apple store and change it, this will only be possible from the 10th of October.
