Ricoh Aficio CL7200 auto color registration failed: When running auto color registration from the user menu, it comes back failed. When running it from the service menu (5993)it comes back with a result (5993 007) of 070707 which is a problem with all ID sensors. I've tried cleaning them and still same result. How can I get auto color registration to run with a positive result? Any help/guidance is appreciated...

The manual says this code means " BCU Received no Feedback from LD" I have no idea what that means, but maybe it will help a tech on hear tell you more.

On the CL7200, sc440-02 is a color drum motor error. This error could be caused by a bad color drum unit (any of the 3 colors) or the drum gear positioning sensor, but more often than not it is because of a drum motor that went bad. There is one motor that controls all three color drums -- when this motor goes bad, you get the sc440-02 error.
