I need to bypass a customer's forgotten Bios password - HP Compaq 6535b.

I don't know if it will solve this, and I am assuming this is a laptop, but remove the battery, unplug the power cord. Press and hold the "on" button for about 30 seconds. Then press and hold the "on" button and the esc key at the same time for about 30 seconds, then reconnect the battery and start it up. It might work...Otherwise you will have to open it up to get to the mobo and use the pwd bypass jumper inside.

How to Recover Passwords Using Ophcrack LiveCD

1. Download Ophcrack LiveCD
2. Burn to a CD
3.Boot from Ophcrack LiveCD
4. Ophcrack will attempt to recover the passwords for all of the user accounts that it can find on your computer. This password cracking process is completely automated. The important things to look for here are the accounts listed in the User column and the passwords listed in the NT Pwd column. If the user account you're looking for isn't listed, Ophcrack didn't find that user on your computer. If the NT Pwd field is blank for a particular user, the password has not been recovered yet.
As you can see in the example above, the passwords for the Administrator and Guest accounts are listed as empty. If you were cracking a password for a user that Ophcrack shows as empty, you now know that you can log on to the account without a password at all, assuming that the user account is enabled.
Look toward the bottom of the user list - see the Tim user account? In under one minute, Ophcrack recovered the password to this account - applesauce. You can ignore any other accounts you're not interested in recovering the passwords for.
After Ophcrack recovers your password, write it down, remove the Ophcrack LiveCD disc from your optical drive and restart your computer. You don't need to exit the Ophcrack software - it won't harm your computer to power it off or restart it while it's running.
In the next step, you'll finally get to log on to Windows with your new password!
Note: If you do not remove the Ophcrack LiveCD disc before you restart, your computer will likely boot from the Ophcrack disc instead of your hard drive.
. ow that your password has been recovered using Ophcrack LiveCD, simply enter your password when prompted after booting your computer normally.
To avoid needing to hack your own password again someday, I recommend creating a password reset disk. As long as you can keep the disk safe and also avoid losing it, you'll be protected from any future forgetfulness when it comes to your Windows password:

I need to clear the password of the bios. For some reason is locked now. After 3 attempts I've got a Key:65409952

For a Desktop computer:

When inside the computer be sure you're aware of the potential damage that can be caused by ESD.

1. On the computer motherboard locate the BIOS clear / password jumper or dipswitch and change its position. This jumper is often labeled CLEAR, CLEAR CMOS, JCMOS1, CLR, CLRPWD, PASSWD, PASSWORD, PSWD or PWD as shown in the picture to the right. To change the jumper remove it from the two pins its currently on so that it covers the pin that is not covered. For example, in the picture to the right pins 1 and 2 are covered, you'd remove the jumper and put it on pins 2 and 3.

2. Once this jumper has been changed, turn on the computer and the password should be cleared. Once cleared, turn the computer off and return the jumper or dipswitch to its original position.

The location of the jumpers or dipswitches are dependent on the manufacturer of the computer and motherboard. However, below are some general ideas on where to find it. Remember that most motherboards could have dozens of different jumpers, make sure you're changing the CMOS jumper and not something else. If these general suggestions do not help refer to your motherboard / computer documentation or skip to the next step.

The above instructions are from the following page:

you are going to need to power up your Windows XP computer. then hit CTRL/ALT/Del twice to reboot. Then during the reboot hit CTRL/ALT/Del again to enter the screen to reset all passwords.

If this does not work you will have to use your restoration disk.
