It is hopefully just the fuse. To get at the fust you have to remove the casing (there are screws on the under side). Once removed you will find a little glass tube fuse located where the power comes into the unit. The fuse just pops out and you can get a replacement from any electronics shop.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hi, I stupidly turned on my brand new Francis X7 machine without using a transformer (I bought it from the US, used it in Malaysia), and of course, something blew, and it now doesn't work at all. Any...

The machine is made to work with 120 volts and you have plugged this on a 220 volt mains circuit thereby blowing up the fuse, or the power circuit, possible heater and the main controller unit board.
A step down transformer was needed to work this unit safely . Now unless the unit is opened the damage cannot be confirmed but if you are lucky the fuse would ahve blown and saved the rest. if so test it with a new fuse using a 220 to 120 volt convertor.( transformer with good rating)

Yes, fuse may be blown, first check out the fuse of CDJ,
if it does not work. Install a physical 120v American transformer
also change the switch of 240v to 120v from back of CDJ

thx,

I bought pioneer cdj's 200 in the USA. Unfortunately it was used in SA without a correct adapter. I think it blew my cdj's because the 210 adapter was not used. Is there anyway i can fix them?

u could have bloo the trancformer, but check the fuse inside the unit first, & the plug coz u never know unless u test it.
if it still doesnt work then the trancformers probobly gone.

CDJ 200 without electricity fuse blow off?

no you cannot do that , the device works on 120v( 117v around me) , but it cannot be changed like that , you would need a trans former that breaks down the voltage to 120v
changing the fuse will not change the circuitry in the device
