Re: tetris plus game
Check to make sure that the Video portion of the cable was not damaged in any way. If it does not look like it, but with all cables plugged in (make sure to push firmly if you are using standard Red/White/Yellow cables to insure they are seated), If still nothing, then try first replacing the cable. If that does not work, then there may be a problem with the PS2. If you can play any other games just fine, then the game you are attempting to play has a code problem, and that needs to be reported to the company that manufactured the game

Hi the ps1 games come in cd format so if your buying the games from shops then they come as cds, how ever if you search using google you can find sites that let you download the games onto a memory card this isnt legal so icant give you many details but searching google will help you then copy the games onto a memory card and also the ps1 data onto the card and you can then play games without cds you just insert the memory card in the card slot on the ps and then you play the games that way.
someone may have misused a virtual memory hard drive, mine does that sometimes..
i took mine apart it looks like one big chip inside.
it will still play the disc with the top off, if you use toothpicks in the correct places. once you have it like that, and the screen says insert cd rom.push the thing that resets it,i used one of the screws. and that should do it.
if not then you need a V-mem. probably find it on ebay. i have one so they are out there.
hope i was helpful.
The PS2 has had some issues with PSX games. In any case, its probably a good idea to clean the lens on your PS2. If not, then you'll probably want to adjust it.
If you aren't knowledgable in how to do this, I can't really instruct you, but I can tell you to take it to a Play N Trade or anywhere that your console can be fixed, and inform them that you want to make an adjustment on the lens.
Due to the fact that other PSX games seem to work, my guess is the copies you got are either pirated copies in normal cases, or the discs are just broken.
