Question about Cameras
Sounds like your CCD is defective, but it's hard to say without seeing the camera in person. There was a large CCD recall, and your A95 was on the recall list. I believe the recall is now over, but it won't hurt to call Canon and see if you can still get it fixed for free. Most likely your local person knew nothing about the recall... they usually don't.

Support hours are Monday-Friday 8am to 12 midnight, and Saturday from 10am-8pm. (All times EST.)
