That's just the way the camera works. The first flash allows the camera to judge how much light it needs, and it sets the second flash appropriately when it takes the picture. More sophisticated (and expensive) cameras have a manual mode, where the power of the flash is controlled manually, eliminating the need for the first, pre-flash. With most point&shoot cameras, you're stuck with it.

When taking pics my camera pic are a white blur how do i fix it?

Back up from what you are photographing, and turn your flash off or onto auto. You do this by lightly tapping the little Lightening bolt in the lower right corner of the LCD screen and repeat as necessary until the yellow lightning bolt on the left side of the screen either has a red circle on it w/ a light through it (off) or a capitol A beside it (auto). I prefer auto, because I take most of my photos outdoors and it's hard to tell if a flash is necessary under a tree when its really sunny, or on a really cloudy day @ the beach...(sunny day in the shade-flash. Cloudy &rainy beach? No flash, not ever!) There is a problem w/ the cameras flash system though, you can set it on auto thinking that you can just click away & let the camera handle the flash like you can on most cameras, but the Vivitar almost always has to have the flash reset after every single photo, but then every once in a while it stays on the same setting all day long!

Vivitar f328 vivicam 14.1mp camera

There are a lot of variables but set the macro to on and no flash. Make sure you give the camera time to autofocus and shoot straight into the glass. You may also try using the flash but block its full effect with the corner of a playing card. This will speed up your shutter and stop glare from the glass.

How do i turn on my flash on my vivitar vivicam 8025

When you turn the camera on and you are on the main screen, use the last touch screen button at the bottom marked with a lighting bold. If you hit it it once, the flash is automatic, if you hit it twice it is always on.

Flash on vivicam 3188 doesn't flash

flash does work on your vivitar cam you just have to put it on.
when you want to take a pic with flash on you simply have to press the backwards arrow which has the lihtning flash arrow above it. now the flash should work when you take your picture.
Good Luck
hope it works-it should because i've got the same cam too.
