Sharp 13K-M100

Hello And Thanks For The Forum,...maybe you can help me out...sometimes this 1998 set will come on and sometimes it won't. mostly won't. sometimes unplugging a few times will make it come on. once it comes on it will stay on days or a week untill it is turned off. sometimes you can turn it off and if you don't wait more than a few seconds you can turn it back on. over and over too. right then if you un-plug it and immediatly plug it back in it won't come back on. after that, it's back to the un-plug plug routine to try and get it to come back on again. removed cover from relay. of course when set doesn't come on the relay immediatly goes back to "open". manually closing the relay does nothing. relay is good because i subbed one just so i would know for sure...i suspect a bad cap in start-up but i practically quit working on sets back in the early 90's. behind in the times, no schematic, only an ohm meter (my tube tester still comes in handy from time to time). i am trying to fix this one for a friend.
