Question about Canon PowerShot A75 Digital Camera
First set your camera to factory default options and try it. An incorrect lens setting, such as Macro, can cause this problem. A physical problem with the lens can too, but the options are the easiest to check first. If that isn't the problem, make sure the battery is charged, turn the unit off, look to see if the retracted lens is level. If not, gently press on the raised side and listen for a light snap sound. Sometimes the lens can get off of their track. There is a risk when doing this operation, but I have seen it work several times.
