Question about Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-34XBR800 34" TV

Color Problem For some reason, my green and red colors haven't been working correctly. I've tried messing with the colors, hues, etc., but nothing seems to help. Is it possible to go back to the factory setting? Thanks.

Ok try turning the tv of for (1)Hour by the power point and back on After and Hour Is UP. that way it will reset picture -

Make sure you un plugged it by the power point for the full 1hr

also make sure there is no speakers or anything magnetic within 90cm's of the tv this can also cause
the picture to have strange colors in the screen - if that happens simple Repeat the above

I removed the back of my set and found 2 adjustments that appear to be attached to some thick wires that rapp around in fugure 8s on the back of the tube. They may change the feild of the the screen this may get your colorsto re-line them selves or adjust the vertical and horzintal field ,Unfortunitly a pieace of the circuit board around my audio out jacks broke off .When you look at the back they have arrows pointing at every screw that has to be removed so you don'nt heard your circuit board remove ALLscrews with the arrows, then remove all the screws around the outside of the rear shell.Try to pull down the back at the top to the hinges at the bottom if you have any thing hanging up ,go back and make sur ALL the screws are off.the adjusstments are 2 plastic clinder knobs on the center right can adjust theses with the tube on ,they should have had theses

come out the back ,put then you wouldn.t have somone like me break a small pieace of the board off

,missing the smallist screw. Ynplug set sit it on a flat bench where you can get to the adjustmens and able to see the screen at the same time.Plug it back in and turn 1 knob at a time until you get the disired degouse and H/V stretch ,i cant until I re soulder the audio out jacks back on and several other connections I broke by not seeing thte smallist screw. I bought it for 20 bucks ,but still one screw kept me from having a 720i t/v with a **** load of extras. Those wires I mention appears to be ATTACHED.TO A COIL THAT SEEMS WOULD SOLVE YOUR CONVERGANCE/DEGOUSING PROBLEM.with a hundred turns of a screw driver.

Sony Wega model kv-32fs120. Color is all reds and blues, no greens or yellows. We have tried adjusting the hue as per the owner's manual and also the re-set but nothing changes.

The color of the television are compose of three color RED,GREEN and BLUE.So the lost color is the green. The problem is in the color section of the CRT board in the chroma section and in the CRT socket board.Maybe theres a loose connection in the PCB like the cathode output transistor.

an internal degaussing coil circuit is already installed in the unit to neutralized color pattern...a loose solder connection may have caused this because as it operates temperature increases between the thermistor..

My screen has little dots appearing sometimes red sometimes blues behind the picture i just replaced the lamp bulb as i thought it would cure the problem

the projection tube needs to be adjust for color alignment, each tube (red, green, blue) must be aligned so you there would be no color smear appear on screen. if it is aligned try to set up the color balance, hue etc.

The color on my mitsubishi model # vs-5041 is faded and foggy.

Hi, did you try a color convergence? I used to work in Best Buy and one of the key things about rear projection TVs and the reason they push those service plans on you is that the tubes/colors need to be calibrated each year. You can do this yourself by checking out the following website:

Hope this helps :)

Using the on screen menu, check the hue or wall color settings. [Hue]
Varies the color level from +/- green to +/-blue. The red level is used as reference. This adjustment is only valid for
Video, Component and TV standard inputs (not valid for RGB and DVI digital).
