This may be a problem with the chords not fully hooked in all the way.Try pushing them in,if this doesn't work,go to the store where you bought it with your receipt and request a replacement or refund.

Try using a different channel, 3 is generally the channel for video players and video games, 2 will also work sometimes 4.

Wii is 2 years old just got new tv set wii up and wii has no colour/sound. Colour is grainy black and white and sound only comes out of the wii remote.

please check your cables and make sure that they are on the right ports. simple solution. nothing wrong with your wii. New Tv can be a little confusing. remember just keep your wii on and test the ports till you get the right ones. If other devices are working such as dvd player then you need to replace the cables

When we turn on our Wii and get to the main menu page where you can click the game, the Mii channel, etc... it starts scrolling like crazy, like someone is pushing the arrow keys when no one is touching...

The colour system setting on the tv didn't match with your wii. e.g. if you have US/*** wii, you can set colour system to NTSC on the tv. or PAL for Europe wii.

Hopefully this help..

Wii plays in black and white.

Check if the tv has different types of AV settings, as this affects whether the wii plays in black and white or colour.

Colour change

Hi,
This sounds like an output cable fault.
Check that the cable connecting from the wii to tv is secure. ( not angled )
If you have different output/input sockets on the T/V ( scart et,c ) try a different socket.
Try the Wii on a different television Set.
Check that the mains plug ( if plugged into an extension Board ) Or double socket. Isn,t picking up electrical interference from another source. or loose wire on another plug, sharing the same sockets.
try moving the wii sensor bar, to a different location. ( above or below the T/V )
if you have a friend/relative who owns a wii, ask to borrow thier lead to try out. this is a process of elimination.
If none of these suggestions solves your problem, then you have a suspected console fault ( motherboard or graphics chip overheating problem )
Hope this information is useful for you.

Colour keeps changing on nintendo wii, not just on one game, it does it on all games. only got 2 different game discs but colour changes on both of them. help!

Hi,
Check the lead that goes from Wii To T/V.
Try moving the location of the Sensor-Bar.
Test the console on a different T/V set.
