The mouse on laptop has stopped working. I have swapped the mouse over thinking it was a problem with the mouse itself but it is coming from the laptop unfortunately.

Usb mouse stops working vary often, almost every 10 minutes..to fix it I have to disconnect it and put it right back but that's temporary.

It sounds like you have a faulty usb connection inside your laptop, Try putting mouse into another usb jack onto your laptop, or try connecting something else ie camera, phone to the usb you have been using for your mouse. If all is well when connecting another device to same usb, It maybe a fault with the mouse itself and not your laptops usb. Let me know if you connect another device if problem happens the same or if it works. If it works it's a fault with your mouse. Maybe a break in the mouse wire.
Hope this helps, If you need anymore info please just ask away and I'll be happy to try and help and resolve this issue for you.

My optical device is nit working ? sound comes but with crying ?

Good day Jeetu_mch05, hi If your optical mouse is not working, Well we don't usually repair mouses, its cheap. swap in a good working one, and test. If you really want to repair a mouse, the common faults are its cable. you need to replace a spare cable which comes from the same manufacturer.
As for your crying sound, my guess would be that your speakers are at fault here. so swap in a good working one.
If then you really want to repair the crying sound thing, this is caused by a faulty IC amplifier inside those speakers. Replace that IC and you removed the crying sound. Check also some capacitors while you are servicing the speakers. = )

Mouse stops working

Hello sir/maam, try to swap another mouse, but to work properly, you need to shutdown your pc first if you are using the PS2 version. if your mouse is the USB version, no need to shutdown.
As you swap, you will know if your mouse is defective. if confirmed bad, buy a new one.

Intuos 3 Pen/Stylus suddenly stopped working (as in dead).

Will the tablet work with the mouse? If it does not, is not working is the blue LED light on. If the LED is not working try another usb port. If the mouse works go into the Wacom tablet properties from the start menu. Select the grip pen from the tools. Click on the default button to restore the stylus to factory settings. When you press the pen you should see the pressure scale rise. You can also test the eraser pressure. You could also replace the stylus tip to see if that works. From the Wacom site you can order a new stylus or tips if it is found defective.

Mouse wont work , I have put new batteries in & have also looked in control panel which says it is working ... Red light is on. HELP...

Recommendation:
  • Make sure that the mouse is connected physically to the correct port and that it is not loose.
  • Check the mouse wire to make sure it has not been excessively twisted, bent or damaged in any way.
  • If you have another mouse that you can try in place of this one, try swapping them and see if the problem goes away. Similarly, you might want to try your mouse on another PC and see if it works. (Remember that drivers are often specific to certain types of mice; you want to swap with another mouse of the same type, using the same interface, either serial or PS/2).
  • If this is a new PC, check this section for troubleshooting possible general problems. In particular, there may be a loose or incorrectly connected internal cable to the COM port that you are using for the mouse.
  • If you are using a PS/2 style mouse, make sure it is not connected to the (identically-sized) PS/2 keyboard connector. This of course will also make the keyboard not work properly.
  • If you are using a serial mouse, you may have a problem with the serial port itself. Resource conflicts and other problems with the serial port are fairly common. Look here.
  • If you just upgraded your motherboard and now your mouse is not visible, a likely cause is that you left the old cables that attached from the serial port connectors to the motherboard headers in place. These cables are not universal, and you might now have the wrong kind installed for your new motherboard.
  • If you are using a PS/2-style mouse, remember that the mouse uses IRQ12. In some situations, this may cause a resource conflict with another device. Check here for more on resource conflicts.
  • If you are trying to use a PS/2-style mouse on a serial port, or a serial mouse on a PS/2 port, you must use a so-called "combo" mouse. These are specially designed to be able to handle the different electrical signals that are used by the two different mice. Some mice will fit the adapters physically but will not function correctly because they cannot handle the different signaling levels required;

The mouse on the laptop has stopped working. I have changed over the mouse itself thinking it was a problem with the mouse, but it worked for about 30 minutes before it stopped working again.

check to see if it's a driver issue:
check in device manager for a ? or a ! next to the pointing device: go start>right click my computer>properties>hardware tab>device manager and look for a yellow symbol with a ! triangle or a yellow "?"sign... if you find this under ponting device you have most likely a driver issue,

check the manufacturer's website for an updated driver for you pointing device and reinstal the driver.

How to put cordless mouse on pc

A cordless mouse is usually attached to the computer with a USB wireless device that usually comes with the mouse. All you have to do is plug the USB device into an available USB port on the back or front of your computer and you should be ready to go. The device will install itself in most instances. Then you need to make sure that you put batteries into the mouse itself in order for it to work. Sometimes a wireless mouse will come with an installation cd that will assist you in the installation process.

Laptop keyboard has stopped working, tried to reboot still didn't work, i have my printer, mouse and memory stick connected to the laptop, i have only had the laptop for about 3 months. It is a MSI laptop.

Hopefully ur warranty is still good on your laptop, if so you could have MSI send you a new keyboard-replacing it is not as hard as you think...just a couple of screws holding it down.
