This particular printer does not have wireless A, B or G enabled but it does have Bluetooth. Although if you wanted a permanent and reliable connection the option that you can take is to wire this printer to your router and then print from a wireless computer. Another option is if you want you can buy a wireless printerserver for multifunction printers like the Linksys WPSM54G (Check and call for compatibility first) and then have it go wireless. Take note that you have to have a router for all these options by the way. As for the abovementioned bluetooth its not that reliable because of the speed. Especially if you print photos.

Try returning it because Kodak discontinued the whole 5xxx series because of all the problems those printers had.

I have lines going through everthing i print.I changed the cartridges, deep cleaned and calibrated and still have lines

I own a Kodak 5100 All In One Printer. The print quality is fantastic. The printer features are very good. There is a problem, lines through the prints in my case indicated a failed print head. Kodak has been wonderful in replacing 3 print heads thus far while my printer is under warranty. Be warned, these print heads cost $70.00 each, what you will pay for the head after the warranty expires. In constant communication with Kodak, there does not seem to be a resolution to the high failure incident rate of the print heads. It is a shame that such a great printer would have such a high rate of print head failures.

Colors are too light

Go into the printer maintenance program and set your saturation level there. I had ti tinker with mine a little bit but, now, about 2000 pictures later, it's still fantastic.

Take printer head out of 5500 all in one kodak ?

If you have a bad printhead contact Kodak by phone or email and go thru a few test if Kodak says you have a faulty printhead they will ship you a new one alone with new ink tanks FREE of charge and by overnight air. to remove printhead look at the bullseye and move your finger to top far left and push up on small clip and head will unlock for removal. Hope this info helps

Photo paper

1. Never put XtraLife paper from a printer dock in any inkjet printer. This paper is not made for inkjets. The ink will simply spill all over the place.
2. You can use any paper you wish that is inkjet paper but you must set the appropriate settings through the print manager if the paper is anything but Kodak inkjet photo paper. The 5100, 5300, and 5500 all recognize the backprint on the Kodak paper and automatically optimize the settings. Other brands of paper are not optimized in this fashion and therefore must be done manually through the print manager or software.
