Based on the problems that you have you might have a virus or malwares on your computer.
Try going to www.malwarebytes.com then download the latest version. you can use the free trial. install it then run it on your computer. Take note to choose the full scan. If that does not fix the problem kindly message me.

My vg800 monitor speakers wont play sound why

Check your drivers to see if they need to be re-installed the easiest way to do this is go to your manufacturer web site tick on support drivers and downloads get the audio drivers make sure the input is completely plugged in to the green or whatever your input is for speakers. Clean the connections restart the computer and monitor also make sure that you are not muted in either the computer or the monitor speaks go to the setting on the monitor and unchecked, if muted also un-check at the task bar as well. ...John

I have a Mercury PIG31Z motherboard and running on Win 7. Sound drivers are installed, but there is no sound yet. Help plz

Hi, At the task bar can you see the speaker icon if not or there is no sign in it, the driver that you had install is not compatible for windows 7. Try windows 7 auto update sometime that this will correct the problem. Please check the motherboard what kind of sound system it is. the chip label if that is nvidia, realtek, ati, sis etc. Try to download driver for windows 7 at www.realtek.com. maybe this is your sound system driver. Hopefully that this will work for you. Please get back to us if this information helps you solve the problem.

I can't get my sound to work

The first thing to check are the speaker plugs. Depending on the options of your tower there could be up to six different plugs on the back of the tower. Usually the green colored plug is for audio out. Also check all the connections on the speakers for anything not plugged in correctly.

Next right click the speaker icon in the task bar. The task bar is located in the lower right hand corner of the display. A small window will open giving you 2 choices. Left click "Adjust Audio Properties". If you cannot locate it in the task bar then left click the "Start" button, left click "Control Panel" then double left click the "Sound and Audio Devices" icon. Make sure the "Mute" check box is not checked.

If you still have no sound then click on the "Hardware" tab on the "Sound and Audio Devices" window and left click the "Properties" button. This will open another window.

In this window under "General" tab check to see if it says "This Device Is Working Correctly". If not click the "Driver tab on this window. You will be given a choice to "Update The Driver" . Clicking this button will check for any updates to the sound driver.

If you still are without sound your problem may be a bad speaker wire or cable.
I hope this helps.

Speakers won't work

Hi,

Please check the connection from Speaker to your Sound Device if its properly and correctly connected, usually it should be inserted in the GREEN hole at the back of your CPU, if this doesn't help, then check the volume control (SPEAKER ICON) on you Windows Setting, you can see it on you task bar, beside the CLOCK on the right side, if this still doesnt help, please re-install your SOUND Device Driver, if its buil-in on your Motherboard, then you can use the CD provided in the Motherboard.

If this procedure solves your problem, please spare a little time to rate my solution.

Sony desktop has no sound

try to find the volume in your task bar, maybe was set to mute. if not see the volume. go to control panel double click the " audio and sound device" uncheck the mute "box" , same probelm occur.
do this,
Install the correct audio driver, maybe have error on it,
Find the CD/DVD utilities of your computer and the install the audio driver.,
if don,t have CD/DVD utilities tell me the Audio card model number or if the audio is builtin to motherboard tell me the motherboard for me to search the driver for you to download.
