when you put the new motherboard in, you will need to repair your windows installation in order for the computer to work with the new motherboard as Windows configures the hardware on the board, when you install Windows, that installation will only work for that board, if you upgrade, u just need to repair

the power box is no good. get the numbers off it and look on ebay for a replacement or you can go to www.tigerdirect.com/
you can find them cheep. most of the time when the box blows and the mother board go's too, I would get a motherbaord as well.
Your motherbaord is shorted out, replace it, you can get the numbers off it and put in in on the web and you can find out what kind it is. put that in ebay and you can find some new ones with a good price.
