Question about Hotpoint HSS25GFP Side by Side Refrigerator
I have an old Hotpoint Top Freezer Refrigerator model CTF15ELD Serial # TL301428. Recently the refrigerator part is not staying cold enough and there is condensation dripping on the upper part of the refrigerator in the back inside under where the freezer cabinet is. Cold control is set on 5, refrigerator seems to be about 55 degrees. Freezer is working - freezing icecubes, etc.
Hi thanks for the question you problem could be a no defrost problem remove the floor of the freezer 4 screws lift from back to front remove foam if its all frosted up you have a defrost problem a bad fan motor also can cause this it could also be stuck in ice if so use hair blower and thaw dry it real good re assemble and try again thanks the appliance doc
