Question about Roper RAX7244KQ Top Load Washer
During normal washing, the machine entered the rinse/spin cycle and stopped. I cant turn the basin by hand- seems like its frozen, and I cant find anything obvious jamming the works. Ideas?
I would first check the lid switch and the plunger that pushes the lid switch. If both are good I would make sure the machine is washing properly. If the machine will not wash or spin you have a bad coupling. If the washer will wash then stop at the spin it is usually a bad lid switch, or transmission. The transmission will have a 5 year warranty. It is also possible that you have an object stuck under the main wash tub. You can remove the cabinet and look for objects or you can remove the wash basket itself. Good luck with your repair.
