Sounds like your pump is clogged....first you need to remove the front cover below the loading door... (will be 3 Phillips screws on the very bottom). You will see a white cap in the very center bottom. You are going to need a bowl to catch some water and probably some debris when you remove it....Make sure you get all the debris (coins wrappers...ect... I made about $2.75) out before you put the cap back on the drain...Then try to run a normal cycle again. You can always run the diagnostic program that is found in the manual which is also located behind that front bottom cover if the normal cycle doesn’t go all the way through.....then you got me.....the pump is probably out but you will get more information if you run the diagnostics.....Good Luck.....

My whirlpool duet washer will not move forward with the cycle and will not allow me to open door. I have tried the pause/cancel button and depressing the end of cycle button on front. nothing so far,...

Assuming that you mean the washer stops at the spin cycle and door remains locked, then thats normal safety precaution when tub has water in it. If the drain pump is bad or restricted this could be a reason for this happening. You can get the door opened by taking off the bottom front portion of the washer also known as a kickplate. Once this is done with the machine unplugged you can reach up on the right side an there usually is a plastic tab that you pull that will release the door catch. While your down there you can check the drain pump, located in the front center of the machine. On most of the front load the pumps have a center piece facing forwad that you can twist to the left to unscrew and remove any debris that could be blocking water flow. If this is the case you still may need to replace the drain pump depending on how long somethings been in the pump. Hope this helps.

Duet washer leaks during use; rinse cycle?

Check the water pump hose connections and the water pumps housing bolts themselves could have loosened from vibration. more likely the hose connections on the pump itself though. Hope this helps.

Model # GHW9100LW on final rinse and spin water remains in washer, door locked and humming sound comes from machine....pause/cancel will not unlock door or start new cycle... what might be the problem?

Sounds like the pump is trying to drain the water but something is clogged in it or the pump itself is bad. Door wont unlock if machine thinks there is water inside. Remove front lower panel. pump is in center. Unscrew cap and remove attached filter. Be prepared for water to come gushing out once filter is removed. Clean filter and reinstall. If problem persists then the pump itself needs to be replaced.

Start the wash cycle, water starts to run in,F21 displays and a humming noise begins and the door will not open no matter what effort you make to try and open. Reset cycle to rinse and water will not go...

f21 is no drain error code, you have to take off the bottom panel, you'll need a shop vac or something to catch water, put some towels down under the pump, the middle of the pump unscrews so you can clean it out, turn the center part counterclockwise slowly, when the water starts leaking out vac it up as it leaks out, doesn't take long to drain it,when it's drained remove the center piece and you'll find some lovely things in the catch, feel around inside the pump to make sure you get everything out and nothing is hitting the impeller or stuck on it,if it doesn't drain after that and the pump just humms you'll need a new pump, good luck,if i can help you with anything else let me know

Duet washer stopped mid cycle humming noise can't open door

Remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained by your pump) After you hv drained unscrew the cap and remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and water. Refit carefully after cleaning out. If not solved, something shd be blocking your pump, check this out. F-21 filter blocked.

How abt a nice rating for the free help?

Whirlpool warher

This is another pump problem, it will keep pumping if it thinks there is water coming through, pump cycle should only be about 30 seconds.
