Sony DSC-M1 Cybershot

Do you address issues related to this type of camera? I dropped it in a creek however quickly retrieved it. The memory stick works but the screen reflects "Turn the power off and on again". There is a code that blinks E:91:01. When I turn respond to its direction the screen pops up for a second and then I have the turn the power off....directive back on? Any thoughts on what I should do?? Thanks.

My Sony Cybershot DSC V1 viewfinder screen very briefly shows the taken image and this then quickly fades to a foggy whiteout which sometimes shows the ghost of the image taken. The same image shows when...

It is possible that the image sensor which is the CCD- charge coupled device is faulty and will need a replacement. However it is important that the OE part is required and so is best to take consensus with Sony spares and service.

Sandisc 4 GB memory stick PRO Duo not working

According to the users manual, the camera does not support above 512 MB cards, however I noticed that there is a firmware update which might address the issue. Go to www.sony.com and support, electronics. Put your model number in the selection box and you'll be taken to the drivers download page.

Yes, you need to have memory stick because camera has limited internal memory that can store few pictures only.
Put new memory card, format it through camera Menu and copy internal memory pictures to memory stick, take our memory card from camera and delete internal memory pictures either one by one or format internal memory through camera Menu.
Thanks.

Error message: Reinsert the Memory Stick"

The problem is with the memory card. It probably just shorted internally and is no longer useful. The amount of memory is not the problem, as I used a 4GB card for a long time and my card finally went bad. You will just have to get another memory card and MAYBE find someone to be able to retrieve your data.

I have deleted the images from my sony cybershot 7.2 by mistake. Does it have an internal memory drive I can get it from.

I am sorry there is no built in memory or any internal memory drive. It gets stored only on to memory stick. But if ur lucky u can retrieve the photos from the memory stick u used using recovery software.

Thankyou

Can't use the video function of my SONY CYBERSHOT DSC-T500

Please reduce memory stick size as 8 GB is too much for it and 2 GB would be fine in DSC-T500

Well I have the same camera.
And mine won't turn on.
Suggestion dont trust this camera.
Or maybe it just can't hold that much memory.

Can you use the PSP Memory Stick Pro Duo cards on your DC?

Yes! The Memory Stick Pro Duo's are one in the same. (Just out of curiosity, where are you finding them cheaper?) One note, however; as strange as this is, though the PSP plays mp4s, they will not play mp4s from a memory stick pro duo that comes directly out of your M1 camera... I've tried it, I have both a PSP and an M1. (The PSP will show off your M1 still photos, though.) Hope this helps! Susan
