Based on what you've written, it appears there is something internally wrong with your controller. Either the button keeps sticking and it won't lift back up or it could be a dust problem. This usually happens when your controller takes severe beatings after losing to a boss battle or just from old age. You should try the following:

- Try blowing into the controller slot or using a q-tip and rubbing alcohol to clean the pins
- Make sure the controller is plugged in correctly then try resetting the game console (usually the controller has to be plugged in before turning on a system)
- If you're brave enough, take apart the controller and pop the button back into place
- The rubber padding separating the plastic button and the computer chip might be worn (sometimes it becomes extremely sensitive)
- If all else fails, I'd consider purchasing a new controller

I hope this helped,

If I knew exactly what brand of controller and whether you're referring
to the joystick or d-pad, I might be able to assist you more.

This may need a repair done to it. If you have a warranty you can send it to the manufacturer, but if not you should try a place called They do really good wii repairs and are really fast.

Any game i play is freezing it seems as if the disk is not reading

The eye maybe out of alignment.
First try this.
Turn ON your PS3.
Go into the menu with all the scrolling menus
Go into system settings and make sure auto-play is on.
Press the PS button on your controller until you see the stand-by type menu. The screen has a dark filter on it and it should say "TURN OFF CONTROLLER, TURN OFF SYSTEM
Insert disc

PSP game keeps scrolling

Ok. Its most likely a joystick problem. this happens quite often. you can replace the cap (the movey bit) or you might need a total replacement (or something is loose and you need to get someone to look at it for you)

Directional Button and L Button Problem and another problem.

I think there might be a problem with your configuration, remove all plugin then try to restore to default setting on setting menu. and/or if your psp installed Custom firmware, the umd speed are set to fast. do this via recovery menu (hold R trigger while turn on psp). you may need to fix L button if it is stuck. you may consoder sending it back to Sony for repair. You can call SONY support at 1-800-345-7669. hope this helps.
