how to put it back together

  • edgremlin600 Mar 02, 2009

i have found a design fault on the stalker that causes the rifle to leak gas for no reason, nearly always after the gun has not been used, the internals have 2 grub screws holding them inplace, these dont do their job well. as you undo the gas cylinder , it undoes the rear of the internals that the gas screws into thus causing major gas leak because the seal has seperated(internal o ring) if you screw the bottle in quick some gas escapes but if you continue to screw the gas tighter the leak stops, which is difficult because theres not enough bottle sticking out doh, this causes another problem as it tightens up it turns the gas outlet hole away from the transfer port, bigger doh, so you get either reduced power or it covers the hole completely drrrrrrrrrrrr, i know how to fix it but i cant get the insides out it wants a shim or even a fiber washer

puting where the housing for the gas connects , spacing it enough to tighten properly to line up the transfer port, im off for a brew and a sulk now :(

I have a crosman 2100 and it will not pump any more. it is real loose.

Try taking it apart, then tighten everything up then put it back together tight. Make sure you have the schematics before you take it apart.

I took apart my crosman 2100 classic .177 caliber pellet/BB repeater and can't put it back together. Any suggestions?

go to the crossman web site and see if they have a service diagram for that weapon or call their tech department and ask if the can send you a diagram on that model so you have somthing to go by next time take a table put numbers on it and place each piece under a number as you take it apart then just start from the highest number and go backward till you finish it thats ho the army dose it

Crosman 2104 Air Rifle

i had the same problem with my 2100. you would have to take it apart. the barrel is held in place with a small allen bolt. you would remove the bolt and slap some locktight on it and retighten.  that should solve your problem but i would think twice before taking it apart cuz its kind of tricky getting it back together and I would replace any seals while you have it apart. good luck
