Milk island error message

Hi, I have a Saeco Talea ring machine.  When I turn the know to the  milk Island setting I receive the error message 'milk island missing'.  If I remove the glass carafe the message changes to 'missing carafe', so it must know the milk island is connected.  Any ideas?

I recently have the same problem.  Do you need to disconnect the arm in order to let it dry out?  How many days did it take before it was dried and working properly again?  Also has this happened to you again? how can this moisture be prevented?

error says "milk island missing" - it is there and sometimes it works ok - I saw a post about drying it out - did that work?

Hi,

I think the problem is the arm where the carafe are connected, if there comes damp down in the arm then you can get this message.

Milk island seems to leak water. After milk is frothed and island has been detached fro some time, a pool of water forms under the base of the milk island attachment and on top of it.

Milk island on a vienna class?
Perhaps its a Saeco Talea you have, correct?

First remember that after foaming your milk and have turned the knob back to´off location. wait until you hear a clicking sound from the machine, might take 2 -5 seconds after it set to off.
Then remove the milk container

That sound means it has close 100% and shouldent leak.

If it still leaks after that its the gaskets in the T-pipe that needs to be changed.

Coffee maker

Hi,

I think that the electric board in milk island is gone and have to be replaced. If the milk island is leaking then it goes into the milk island and you get a short circuit:-(
