What kind of computer do you have? Normally you go in bios. When you turn on the computer you see on the screen that is says: F2 to enter bios. So when the computer is turned on hit f2 and then in bios you need to check on the main page or next page (depends what kind of computer you have) and you will see an option to turn on the infrared. I do not think you need to install anything after you turn them one.
