Question about Coby MP-C7085 MP3 Player
Hey just to let you know I had this same problem on vista. I haven't found a fix but a workaround for me was to go into safe mode, it was recognized in there and let me get the music on there. (tap f8 on startup if you're not familiar with safemode).

You mentioned that your Vista computer does not recognize your device. Please try a different port preferably on the back and see if the device detection icon comes up in the lower right corner of the screen. If it does not please try another computer. if that still does not work it is possible that the MP3 is defective, although do respond with the results so that we can try to look at some other avenue of solutions.
