Question about HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Color images printing in black and white only is a very common problem but not (usually) the other way around. My first guess is that you still have ink in your color cartridge but your black ink cartridge is empty. Usually, you'll receive an error message on the panel of the printer letting you know this, so you might want to have a look. Also, you can open the printer and have a look at the cartridges to see if the black one is empty. If it is, just replace it with a fresh one.
Having said all that, HP.com has a web page that can help you troubleshoot the problem:
Hopefully, this is a simple fix. Good luck.
