Go to your hardware store. Buy a set of allen keys. they look like an 'L' made from hexagonal bar. Turn the water off at the house cock. turn the shower handle on, insert the long 'leg' of the allen key. It will be the a fairly small one (1/16" possibly). Once slotted home turn it anti-clockwise several times. Then try to gently pull the handle off. It may have a bit of resistance if it is an old fitting. If not turn the allen key a few more times and try again.

Stiff cold water handle bathroom Hansgrohe

If the handle is hard to turn it is most commonly caused by water deposits in the handle or in the cartridge below. I would try removing the handle to ensure it turns freely when not installed on the faucet. If not you can clean it with CLR to remove the water deposits that are making it difficult to turn. If the handle turns freely when not installed you will need to remove the cartridge and inspect it to ensure it is not broken or damaged in any way. There could be debris in the cartrige that has either made it hard to turn or broken the ceramic disks. Our handles are easily removed by turning the bell shaped ecutcheon below the lever or cross handle. There are not set screws that hold them on. Single-handle tub/shower: knob turns but no water comes out.

Try removing the screw in center, and pull handle off. Check to see if maybe just inside of handle is stripped, or if it has a plastic insert with splines that are stripped. Thus just replace handle or insert or both. You can try turning it with vise grips or pliers carefully when handle off to see if tap itself is still good. My guess is a replacement handle and/or insert and you'll probably be good to go. Any hardware store should stock parts, reasonably priced.

I have a single handle Danze shower. I can't turn on the water. The handle just turns all the way around.

sounds like handle is not engaged....pull handle...may need allen wrench...after handle is off see if you can turn water on with pliers...should go from right to left...if that works...install handle and tighten with allen wrench....handle should set from off area...see if handle is stripped out or not on proper...if need new handle...pick up at lowes or plumbing supply...good luck

Installing blade on a bosch jigsaw

The black part on top of the handle must be pulled directly up about 1/2 an inch. this engages the screw mechanism that loosens the blade. For some people doing this the first time feels like they are going to break the handle but it moves easier over time. Now turn the black handle counterclockwise several turns and the blade will hang loose in the holder. Turn the blade 90 degrees and remove it. Place a new blade in and turn back 90 degrees. Tighten the handle on top until it clicks. Align the black handle to the main handle and press back down into place.

H-600 Turn Handle slips, bowl does not go back down

Does the handle seem to move easier?there is a shear pin on the handle and if it breaks the bowl wont move.Another thing to check is remove the silver plateon the front of the mixer there are 2 possibly 4 screws, when you remove this plate you will see a long screw about 3 feet long.turn the handle if the screw doesnt turn that pin may be broken.let me know.
