Encountered error message C00D11B1 while using Windows Media Player

Hi there,
There are different solutions on your problem here I did find some of them:

Try to use ccleaner and be sure that windows media player is checked :
http://www.ccleaner.com/

1: try to download this codek pack and install it :
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/XP_Codec_Pack.htm

2: it is related to updates your error you have to do this :
http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp

3: try to remove all the files from this folder- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\DRM\- to a new subfolder and try this :
moving ALL the files in the folder: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\DRM\ as well as the files in the “Cache” folder beneath that was the magic trick. I don’t know if you need to move from both folders, . Note that media player had to re-download the licenses. If it not work you can always return them from the folder back.

For more solutions please see here from the source link :

Hope that helps
IF NOT then return here
