Outdoor patio heater won't stay lit

My endless summer patio heater won't stay lit.
the pilot light works then goes out after 7 to 10 seconds. IF the burner lights up it only stays lit for a few seconds.
have you heard of this problem before?
BTW, endless summer patio heater doesn't come up on the PRODUCT section so I put heater.

I have a Charmglow Patio Heater Model SRPH02, it needed a Thermocouple and searching the net was hard to find an ariginal part, but here it is, call 1-866-814-0585 $3.95 +6.00 shipping the original part.

I'm told by Charmglow that the problem is the Thermocouple. iHowever,it took me several calls to get someone to admit this. They are sending a new thermocoupler. My heater is less than a year old and under warranty--but it's a shame things like this happen.

Originally I was told it could'nt be the thermocoupler as they normally last at least 5 years.

Try it--as it may solve your problem as well.

Hi, I have a sunrise 2001 outdoor heater. It was given to me and is missing the tube that goes from the propane hook up - up to the flame. How and where do I get this part?

You would need to contact the maker of the product. This website doesn't sell parts or have any means of looking them up in this kind of product.

Pilot light lights but will not stay lit with full Propane tank.

Unscrew the thermocouple at the gas valve. Lightly sand the connections, seat and thermocouple end. Sometimes the tiny current generated that keeps a gas valve open will be diminished by corrosion. don-ohio

Lighting the pilot, starting the fireplace

Turn on the gas, hold the pilot flame button down and light the pilot flame, continue to hold the button for at least three min's, release the button pilot should stay lighted.

Diesel takes more air. Have you adjusted it? Flame sensor dirty? Clean it off. don-ohio

I HAVE A BAND NEW KFA80DGD MODEL. I USED DEISEL, IT LIGHTS AND FAN BLOWS BUT AFTER A FEW MINUTES THE FLAME GOES OUT AND IT SHUTS OFF. THE INDICATOR LIGHT BLINKS...

there are two different viscosity rates and two different calorific values here
if it worked well on kerosene keep it on that
if you want to use diesel then have a technician come and set it up for diesel

Cannot get gas to flow to pilot flame with main valve parallel to gas pipe. Is there something I must push to make gas flow to the pilot flame pipe?

you said, in effect: Cannot get gas to light the pilot flame even though manual supply valve is open. Is there something I must push to light [ignite] the pilot? Permalink
The gas supply valve is open, and the pilot gas cutoff valve is open but [it seems like] gas will not flow to the pilot flame because it will not light when I supply a match or lighter flame. I remember there is a button or something I need to press...but where it it? I cannot find it.
