Approx. 5yrs old. Thought I had a place for a memory card. Bought a Sony digital camera. Help!

You can buy a memory card reader (at Amazon.com or ebay.com) and it will have a usb plug. Simply put memory card into reader and plug into computer.

It will work as I just said, but ''technically'' you plug in the reader first into the computer, and _then_ insert the memory card into the reader. (but it will work if the memory card is already in the reader before plugging it in).

You can buy a simple one that only reads the specific memory card you have, or you can buy one that reads ''multi'' different type memory cards.

Mi laptop Dell Inspiron 11 z no reconoce la tarjeta SD

  • Maria, the reader only reads the cards listed below. try another card to see if it reads another. If you open My Computer does the system see the card from that area?

    • MultiMediaCard (MMC)
    • Memory Stick (MS)
    • Memory Stick PRO (MS-PRO)

Cannot see memory card

Does all your usb ports work? Try another usb port. If you have to you can purchase a card reader that reads many different types of cards for under $20.

How much ram can I install in my notebook cf-51

According to this page: http://www.egmont.com.pl/toughbook/katalog/TB-51_ss.pdf

It can come with either 512mb or 1gb or memory and you can have as much as 4GB of memory in it. You'll need Adobe Reader installed to read about the specs yourself.

Memory slot doesn't read memory card adapter

Well it depends on the card you are using. A problem might the fact that the card reader doesn't read SDHC cards. This is not a problem you can resolve. You need to buy an external card reader that supports that type of card. If you need further assistance leave a comment. Cheers

Have a aspire 5735 laptop need to know how to insert sd compact flash disk

If your laptop does not have a built-in memory card reader then purchase an USB multi memory card reader that can read a variety of memory cards such as SM/XD, SD/MMC and CF/Micro drives memory cards.
All you need to do is plug in the memory card into the card reader and then plug the card reader into the computer's USB port. The computer will see the memory card as an external memory device.

Reg mmc card reading

Normally you'd just be able to open My Computer, and plug the card in to the built in slot, and it would pop up as the next available drive letter. If the internal slot is missing or inoperative, you could buy a cheap MMC to USB adapter, plug the card into the adapter, and the adapter into a USB slot.
