My computer have no sound

I went thru all the help in the computer, like system, then harware, sound area, properties, reload the " sound blaster live 24-bit", the computer ask for re start, and then...no sound again....also try to re start with the cd that came with the computer "sound blaster live"....
I have a Dell mimension 8400. windows xp, pention 4

    I have the exact same problem. I lost the installation cd for the sound card and have no sound. Is there a way for you to give me a free download or something so I can get sound back?

My pc is no sounds what should i do to make it sounds

first right click my computer in the desktop then properties then hardware then device manager then expand the audio,vedio and game controller see wether the driver is installed properly if not installed it will show yellow question mark the reload the correct drives from the cd which you recived with your computer install the audio software and restart the system then in the taskbar you will see the speaker icon right click them click adjust audio properties in volume move the slisders to full on uncheck the mute then restart your computer

Sound Blaster Live 24 Bit, no sound

. Right click on Mycomputer, select properties
2. Select hardware
3. Select Device manager
4. double click on the sound,volume and controller
5. if any yellow color pointed is displayed on any option then right click on the option and uninstall it
6. then select Action from the menu bar on the top and select scan for hardware changes

**** after doing this.. you can check the follwoing steps for trouble free ******

7. double click system device
8. if any yellow color pointed is displayed on any option then right click on the option and uninstall it
9. then select Action from the menu bar on the top and select scan for hardware changes
10. then it will start scanning your new hardware and ask for the installation drivers.

go to dellsupport.com and redownload the audio drivers for your system. Hope that helps.

Creative sound blaster live 24 bit soundcard external usb

Explanaition:
This delay you are experiencing is called latency. All equipment or signal processing unit introduces some latency even if extremely low.
Computer tends to be a lot worse than outboard gear.

Solution:
Look for Asio4All, this little driver will help you improve your audio input latency. And remember, the smaller the buffer size the lower latency you get.

Creative soundblaster live 1024 Ver 5.1

Try removing the sound card thru the dive manager and let windows redetect everything. This will usually fix your sound problems. Sounds like there is a bad driver somewhere? Let me know how it goes and I will give you futher assistance if this doesn't work.

had the ame problem two weeks ago. computer progressively getting slower then no sound. I have reloaded operating system which got rid of the virus ( if that was the problem)and now it all runs as fast as before and the sound came back to life. hope this helps
