Sony 6cd will only load 1 cd load button not doing anything

On my Mitsubishi 6-cd changer it won't load cd goes in and out 3times but spots it out

some mechanical problem inside your stereo cd unit that maybe broken parts, circuits, jam or foreign object

the best bet is sony to sony / ford to ford/ pioneer to pioneer/ you can go down to wally world and pickup a decent reciever for about $150.00 and you will save a lot of head aches tryin to adapt& cut and you will still not know why the factory cd changer quit working..

Disconnect the battery and re-connect it and it will reset the cd player and it should acknowledge the cd and you should be able to eject it. Badly scratched cd's will mess up the player as will paper labels on c.d.'s. Good luck

Try disconnecting the power lead from the back of the head unit, wait 60 seconds then reconnect it. This should reset the head unit

Go to player menu until the display shows load and then press a # to load cd into a slot. My friends new Dodge drove me crazy for two hours because I didn't press a # for load location. ( # = 1-6)

is it an original cd or a copy? some cd players doesn't accept rewriteables cds. or or wrong format (mp3, mp4 etc)
