You need to have the ear piece speaker replaced on the phone....take the phone to a mobile center and have them replace it for you.

How do i turn up the volume more so i can hear incomming calls?

Whilst you are in a call, increase the volume on the headset or use the Volume UP button on the phone. You must be in a call to do this otherwise you just turn up the ringer volume.

How come people can't hear me from my headset?

Volume only has to do with the sound level you hear.

The only thing that affects the sound the other ends hears is the microphone, Have you tried moving the mic? Has the headset ever worked properly?

If the other end hears you at all, then the headset SHOULD NOT be muted, but it's worth checking out. They put the mute switch on the underside of the boom mic and sometimes people hit the switch by mistake when moving the boom.

  1. Turn on Bluetooth within your phone. Put phone into pairing mode.Put headset into pairing mode - With headset on, press and hold call button and the volume up simultaneously until the headset begins to flash red and blue.
  2. Pick the headset for Plantronics when prompted. Enter "0000" (four zeros)
  3. you should now have a continuous blue light blinking.

No one can hear me on calls using the wireless earpiece. I end up picking my handset up to finish up my call. My volume on the base is set to 4 and I try increasing the volume on the earpiece while on...

By having your microphone set to level A, B, C, D put it on A to start and while talking to someone who can here you while you switch through. Most systems are set to B for standard use. On the back of the unit is an up or down microphone, that would allow your voice to be made higher or lower.

Cannot hear phone ringing in headset, only on handset.

The HL10 handset lifer is what notifies your headset that you have an incoming call. If you are using the handset lifter and are not receiving the 3 short beeps in your ear piece there are a couple different things that could be going on.
1. The internal microphone could have gone out on the lifter. This microphone is what sends the signal to your headset that you have an incoming call. If the microphone is working you will hear 3 short beeps in your headset.
2. If the volume is too low on your telephone, the handset lifter will not notify the headset of an incoming call, so try turning the volume up on your phone and see if that takes care of the problem.
3. The HL10 handset lifter ships with a ring detector that has a 2.5mm jack on one end and a small round microphone on the other end. This ring detector is intended for phones that do not have the speaker located under the handset. You could try plugging this into the back of the lifter and setting the microphone next to where the lifter is mounted on your phone. This might help pick up the sound of the phones ring tone.

If you are manually lifting your handset out of the cradle and sitting it to the side instead of using a lifter, then you will not receive the 3 short beeps in your earpiece to notify you of an incoming call.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

I am not able to hear anything, when I make a call or get an incoming call.

Hi
The problem might be from the level of the volume of your phone. You need to go to settings on your phone, then you go to tones, then you scroll to volume and check if the level of the volume is high or low then you can adjust it.
If that doen't solve the problem then the earpiece and mouthpiece of your phone might be damaged and you would have to replace both.
BEST OF LUCK

Voyager cell no sound

1. Power you phone off then take out the battery. Put it back in and turn it back on. Rebooting every once in awhile will delete any corruptions or locked up features. You should do this once a week when you remember.

2. If that does not resolve it. Change your ringtone save the changes and change it back. Change your volume level and change it back.. Sometimes the settings get STUCK and changing them gets them back where they should be.

Can't hear caller

The earpiece speaker has gone bad. Unless you have access to a replacement speaker and can solder you will have to take the phone to you nearest Motorola service center.
