Re: model KUD101TJ - WASH CYCLE DOES NOT ENGAGE
I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.
Your problem is: WASHER POWERS UP, BUT WAHCYCLE WILL NOT ENGAGE
Does it fill with water? If not then you have a bad solenoid valve. If it does then it's either a bad control board or a bad motor. I don't recomend these repairs for the average homeowner. You might consider the Repair Directory for a repairman. If it has a few years on it then perhaps it's time to compare the costs of repair verses replacement.

For safety reasons manufacturers started to put switches on washer lids so machines would not run with lid open. Your problem is with your switch. It may have wore out, or through use broken a small piece off it's end, not allowing the switch to fully engage. When you lean on the door, you are helping the switch fully engage. Look around the perimeter of your lid and you will find the switch. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.
Don't know enough from your description. Does the pump hum, or empty the washer? There's a strainer under the lower washer arm that may be plugged. If the pump doesn't engage at all, my first thought would be the timer portion of the control board. I'd guess the control board would run about $125 or so.
I took the washer apart to find any obvious issues. The motor is functioning, the impeller is free from debris, the solenoid does engage and open flap to redirect water to the drain hose. I believe it drains part way through the wash but doesn't drain in the cycle just before the dry cycle.
I have a Bosch Dishwasher and the E-Nr is SGS4362EU/03. The machine is approximately 4 years old, in good condition and has been working very well. Suddenly, there is water remaining after it completes a 50 degrees C wash cycle. This is also evident with the pre wash cycle and the 65 degrees wash cycle.
I have checked and cleaned the filters. I have loosened the internal pump white cover (Torx T 20 screw) and checked for any physical blockage - none. I have also checked for any drainage hose kinks - none.
I have tried a series of empty washes and the machine drains the water during the wash cycles. The dishes are also have a dull colour and show show signs of not being properly rinsed during the wash cycle.
the first thing that your dishwasher does when you turn it on is drain when you turn it on you hear a motor running then it stops then it fills start the washer when it stops to start filling open the door should be no water in the unit if there is you have a drain problem and in fact are washing your dishes in dirty water can be several things that can cause drain problems a piece of food blocking the line at the sink where the drain goes in if its run to a disposer there is a knockout plug that should be removed just stick your finger in there to see if it was removed get you installation instructions and read the part about not removing the drain loop but just about all the time installers will lol if you cant find the instructions go to www.frigidaire.com under customer support can down load them there let me know what you find
My Frigidaire front loader washer model LTF2140E doesnt want to drain the water when set to wash (heavy-normal-quick selectors). It washes put thats it. I have to switch the selector to drain/spin then rinse/spin cycle to finish the load. I checked the drain hose for any clogs....everything is clear. Any suggestions? Also,iIs their any reset buttons for this type of washer?
