If you are using Microsoft Word, the spelling is automatically checked and the text or word will have a red underline if it is incorrect. For grammar, the phrase or sentence will have a green underline if it is incorrect. You can right click on any entry and view the suggestions. It is actually a good way of learning correct spelling and English grammar. Hope this helps. Thank you.

Wordpad does not include spell check. You need to be using WORD (part of microsoft office) or something similar (like open office) to get spell check functionality.

SPELL CHECK NOT WORKING

It is possible that the spell checker must be activated so that the spellings are checked in auto mode or manual mode. If not it is possible the Microsoft OFFICE must be reinstalled as it is possible that the program is infected or corrupt.

How do you type things and use spell cheack?

i will give you instructions

Instructions
  1. Select the text you want to spell check, or place the cursor anywhere in the text to spell check the entire document.
  2. Go to the Tools menu.
  3. Select Spelling and Grammar. The Spelling and Grammar window opens, and Word begins spell checking.
  4. View any flagged words or phrases in the upper-left window. Just above this window, you will see the reason Word has flagged this text.
  5. Check the Suggestions window in the lower-left corner of the Spelling and Grammar window for correction suggestions.
  6. Click the Change button to make the suggested correction.
  7. Click Change All if you want all instances of this error corrected within the text that you are spell checking.
  8. Enter your own change if you disagree with the suggested correction (or if there is no suggestion) by placing your cursor in the flagged text window and correcting the text as you would in any Word document.
  9. Click the Change button to implement your correction.
  10. Click Ignore if no correction is needed; click Ignore All to skip all further occurrences of this "misspelling."

Is there a free download of english spell check for acer

It's kind of a hack, but you could download Firefox, and go to any page with a large text area, and Firefox will spell check it for you. You'll lose formatting, but you'll know what's spelled wrong. I don't think it helps with grammar, though.
