I managed to find a lip underneath the carbon bush
lifted it up slightly and slid out the plastic casing to the side
then replaced the new ones

if it is a suzuki grand vitara , $120.00 a side gets complete lower control arms complete with new bushes and 1 hour to do both sides
it is always best to get the replacement cost for the assembly as well as the bushing prices because the labor cost to remove , replace the bushes and then replace could be more that the assembly
go after market as the parts are still oem without the hefty price tag

remove the suspension arms and press in the new bushes
however check around auto spares shops as it may be cheaper to get new suspension arms complete with bushes cheaper that bushes and labor to replace them
example suzuki lower arms bushes per arm $120.00 = 1 1/2 hours time @ $120.00 / hr compared to new arms $130.00 each
it doesn't cost to ask first

check the length of the motor brushes.
new are about 30mm long.
should also clean up the motor with compressed air.
Remove the electronic module also do a cleanup in all contacts of connectors. If necessary wash with isopropyl alcohol which can be purchased at a pharmacy.
Dry with a hair dryer.
Do not forget to make reset to clear the error.

(Pressing the start button until all the LEDs light up)

How to replace bushes on hotpoint wma13

I assume you mean the Brushes in the motor..Remiove lower rear panel of washer.
Unplug lead to motor. Remove earth lead from motor.
Remove belt, and undo 2 screws securing motor to bottom of drum.
Lever motor away from you, and remove motor. and locate brushes at the opposite end to the pulley

I have no registration code on the back of my manual or box

either send it back and get a new one or contact the manufaturer, there should be a code in the manual or on teh back of the box or somewhere on the cd case

Bad switch

if you are confident in your abilities, you can always take it apart and replace the switch with a generic, off-the-shelf replacement. i believe that its a simple 2-position switch, which you could replace with a toggle or slide model, and any decent hardware/electrical store should carry. you may have to re-solder the connections, if they dont just slip on.

just take it apart, remove the switch, take the switch to a hardware store and tell them that you need one just like it (unless you prefer otherwise). they should be able to find one for you

the newer type motors have carbons tht are fixed in place you would need to remove the motor and on either side will be the carbons they need to be un-screwed to be replaced

from the back underneath

What to do is remove the rear panel at the back get a a 13 mm socket and undue the motor and discconect the motor wiring plug and earth wire pull out the motor and undue the brushes using a pozi screw drive and replace..

however once you put the motor back in you will have to undue the top to get the belt back on//
