are you installing AVG?...
1.try downloading the file again...
2. try using a 7.5 installation file and installed 7.5 instead of 8.0.. don't worry you will still be protected.. and updates will still be avaliable for now.

    1. your registry may have been corrupted- look for ccleaner (registry cleaner.. use at your own risk)

    2. look for previous installations that may have corrupted your registry and try to use system restore to go back to prior the suspected installation

    3. try installing/using AVAST (as good as AVG and free aswell) hopefully you'll be able to.

I got a error code Ox80070017 when i was installing" windows home premium"

That indicates an error reading and writing a file from the installation disk. You could try a slower rate on the optical drive. Read this stuff

What is error 4? and how to solve.balance is stuckedup

What does particular error code mean "General failure". Particularly for "General failure", the SFTP server should provide you more details, that you will see next to "Error message from server". Unfortunately, SFTP server shipped with OpenSSH (or Sun SSH) does not. That is, why you see there just "Failure" (very useful).

Some situations when OpenSSH (Sun SSH) server issues this useless error message:

a. Renaming file to name of already existing file.

b. Creating directory that already exists.

c. Moving remote file to different filesystem (HDD).

d. Uploading file to full filesystem (HDD).

e. Exceeding user disk quota.

thank you
