I had the same problem with a demo of Loco Roco, it might just be a corrupted file... So I hope you didn't pay for it.

You have to either connect your PSP to a Wifi Hotspot using the internet connections settings in the options menu, or you can connect your PSP to a computer with internet, and then select the update option in the main menu.

    Downloading games from internet

If you're looking to download games from the Playstation Store, just go to store.playstation.com, select your region, then select the type of game you want. If you want a real PSP game, select "UMD Legacy". If you want a PS One Classic, select that. Once you pay for and download your game, you need a USB cable with a standard USB end to your computer and a mini b end for the PSP. Most digital cameras use this cable as well, as do other portable electronic devices. You may already have one. If not, head to any video game store or electronics retailer and you'll find the cable you need. After that, happy gaming!

You can go online with the PSP system and browse the Internet. To start browsing the Internet
    1. Check your PSP system set up:
      • Infrastructure Mode
Make sure your PSP system is set up for Infrastructure mode.
See Setting up Infrastructure mode for details.

      • Internet Connection
Make sure you have an internet connection and your PSP is within range of the wireless access point (or hotspot).
PSP®online connectivity requires internet service and network devices, suchas a DSL or cable modem and a wireless router - for example, a Wi-Fihotspot at a café or a wireless local area network (WLAN) in your home.

      • System Software
Make sure you've got the latest System Software.
Requires PSP system software version of 2.0 or higher. Visit PSP System Software Update to download and install the most recent version.

      • WLAN switch
Make sure the WLAN switch on the left side of the PSP system is turned on so that the PSP system can connect to the internet.

    2. In the XMB™ home menu select icn_network.gif (Network) > icn_www.gif (Internet Browser) and press the icn_btnx_color.gif button.

    3. Use the up and down buttons to select the address bar and then press the icn_btnx_color.gif button to display the on-screen keyboard.

    4. Enter the address for the web page you want to display, select Enter and then press the icn_btnx_color.gif button.
For more information, see Using the On-screen Keyboard.

    5. Select a connection and press the icn_btnx_color.gif button.

    6. The web page is displayed.

    7. To hide the on-screen menu, press the icn_btntriangle_color.gif button.

    To close the Internet connection:
    1. With a web page on the screen, press the icn_btncircle_color.gif button.

    2. Select Yes and press the icn_btnx_color.gif button.

    3. The internet browser will close.

If you have issues connecting to the Internet, you may wish to troubleshoot your Infrastructure mode connection.

    Hi mate

Through Wi-Fi, go to a Wi-Fi zone and I hope it is free. Turn on your PSP, go to Internet Browser, Scan, select an Access Point, press Right Button a few times and hope it is not password protected. Save the settings. Select it when you open your internet browser again.
