Go into device manager and find the network adapter, right click on it to display the properties, then go to update driver, and choose check internet. If that doesn't work go the manufacturer website of the network adapter and download the driver from there.
just copy and paste the above link on the browser.....you will be redirected to the drivers page of acer aspire l100.....there you can download the required drivers.....try this....it will work 100%....

You are plugged into the DC adaptor. Have you checked the mains wall power is working and if your DC adaptor is working? May need a tech with a multi meter. Also there is a fuse on the motherboard, but thats getting tricky
1) go to www.devicedoctor.com 2) Download and install the device doctor software 3) Once installed open it up and click scan, it will then scan your PC for the best driver 4) Download the driver (entitled VGA driver) and install 5) Restart and see if this cured the issue
Go back to Acer.com. The driver you want is the one that say's (Power 1000 chipset driver) that is if it's an integrated Network card. If it's not integrated then I would need the name on the card. Hope this helps.
