If you were not using or using a cheap surge protector it probably fried it this happened to myself with a 6,000 tv i learned the hard way invest in a good line conditioner/surge protector 50.00 to 150.00 protect your electronics so this doesnt happen again. im sorry i couldnt have told you before this happened
