Question about Dell Inspiron 8200 Latitude C840 Laptop Keyboard03J247 CD-ROM Drive
My Dell lattitude C840 will not start up. When I press the power button the Caps light flashes 10 times and then the computer shuts down. How can I get it to come on again.
The 3 LED's (Num Lock, Caps Lock, Scroll Lock) are used by Dell to diagnose no-post issues such as yours. The only error code close to yours is [Num Lock ON, Caps Lock FLASHING, Scroll Lock ON]. This indicates a a memory error. Try reseating the memory modules. If you have 2 memory modules, insert one at a time to determine the faulty module.
