My Siemens runs constantly, for hours, and doesn't drain all the water from the bottom. Is this also a "clogged drain" issue or is there something else wrong?
Hi,
Often it is the solenoid valve at the bottom of your dishwasher that causes this problem.
You can get a better explaination of the problem by checking out this tip.
the water in the bottem of the machine under the mesh filter is normal. it acts as a lubricant for both motor impeller and drain propeller. if its greasy then try using only 1 tablespoon of powder soap from now on. now if the water level is ever above the mesh filter after a complete cycle, then you have a drain problem
Not a solution but a cause for my DW having the same problem. One of the four wires going to the On/Off switch shorted and burned. I never lost power to the unit, as far as I know there is no reset button of fuse. I rewired the unit and ran several washes without overheating or shorting.
I was looking for spare-parts for my dish-washer Siemens Lady-Plus 25, bought in 1993 !....and I find your request.
I still have the multi-language "Operating Instructions" manual for it....
Still needing one ?
I can of course send you via e-mail, the english pages of it.
