Hi.

In the back of the computer locate the speaker slot (The slot is as an headphone jack slot usually is green next to a blue or pink) connect the end of the speaker cable like you were connecting a headphone jack. Make sure the speakers are connected to A/C and they are on. Play a sound or something to check them. Enjoy... Let's us know.....

It is likely that there is a failure of one of the amps in the unit. It could be a cracked circuit board, bad solder, bad volume control, or a bad compnent in the power amp section for one side. HOWEVER something does NOT compute here as you can't connect more than one speaker to a 15 Watt Crate amp... Maybe you have two of these amps.

I think I might have my speakers hooked up to my computer wrong. I get no sound. Can you give me instructions on how to hook them up?

If you can get around to the back of your PC they should be colour coded, green to green (speakers) pink to pink (mic) etc,

If they are not colour coded, play something and then get back there and move the port one by one until you hear it playing. You will definitely find the mic port easily as it should have a image of a mic stamped onto the metal by the port, its the speakers that are a bit harder to work out from the images
Let us know how you get on :)

The headphone jack on the TV has switch built-in to kill the TV speakers when headphne jack is used, you need to use powered PC speakers with headphone jack and connect this PC speakers to the Audio line out of the TV set (RED and WHITE RCA audio line out). Basically the powered PC speakers are being used a headphone driver. Or you can get one of those wirless headphone system instead.

You gots ta isolate the problem.  Disconnect the speakers and hook them up to a stereo you know that works.  If you don't hear sound coming out of the speakers, then you know the speakers are fu.k.d up, so you need to look on the speakers to see if there is a fuse that is blown that needs to be replaced.  If you got sound coming through, then disconnect them and hook them back to the original stereo making sure you got a good connection and all the wires are in good and tight.  Then turn your stereo on and go through the various channels like Tuner, Tape Deck, Aux, and DVD to see if you get any sound.  Also turn the volume knob up. If you don't get any sound after all this, you know there is something wrong with the stereo your using.

I can't hear my tv speakers

If you are connecting your computer to your TV via the PC cable to look at the internet on your screen - you will also need to hook up an alternate audio cable from your computer to either external speakers or an audio receiver in order to hear sound - a PC cable only carries video from the computer to the television, no audio.

Quiet Noisey feedback out of speakers

The speakers are not hooked up correctly. I don't know if you still have the instructions but it is a hardware problem and not software. Try to figure out how to hook them up correctly.

Rear speakers don't work

Sir,
I do not want to insult you in any way, but I must ask just in case it was overlooked! First check to be sure that the speaker settings on the stereo were not set all the way to the front. If that is not the problem, you can hook another speaker you know works to the wireing to the rear speakers to check to see if it is the speaker or the wireing. If you hear sound from the speaker you know works, then your speakers in the car are bad. If you do not hear sound, then it will be from the wireing. Next is the more difficult part. You will have to pull the stereo out and can splice into the wires. Hook the good speakers up to the splice and check for sound. make sure you know for sure the wires you splice into are for the rear speakers. If you still hear no sound, then it is more then likely a problem in the stereo itself. If you do hear sound then there is a problem in the wireing somewhere and may be easier to just run new wires to the rear speakers.

It seems to me that if the monitor speakers have both in and out jacks, they intend to pass the power through to the speakers for the audience. Connect from the amp to the monitors and from the monitors to your regular speakers.
