Please do a soft reset to your player by holding down the power button for 30sec.
Once you have done that your player will turn off.Insert the USB cable and connect it to the PC and allow it to recharge then press the power button again,it will turn on and you will not face this problem again.
Let me know the result.

My name is Joseph, and I own a red 2GB sansa clip player. I was using it when exercising when it froze. I turned it off, waited a few seconds, and then tried to turn it back on. But it would not turn...

Have you tried resetting the player, slide the power switch up and hold it for 15 seconds, see if this helps. If not click on the link above for technical support from sandisk.

Turning on my mp3

has your MP3 player smashed on something or banged on anywhere?... Coze it may be damaged.
If that's not the case you should check it with new batteries coz old batteries mite be empty
Lastly if none of the others are in place you may have a real problem with your MP3 player and you should go to some technical repair shop to fix.

Make sure you have the software that came with it installed.

Other methods:

Use Windows Media Player to transfer files.

Open My Computer Open 'Sansa', If you can view your files; you can drag new ones in.

If that didn't help reply with more info

Good luck, please rate.
