I need the radio code for a 2000 ML 450 bought used and code card is not available. the vin # 4JGAB72E5YA179735

Hi,
According to your requirement you have to purchase radio code or you can use car radio decoder software to decode your car radio. If you have experienced a dead battery, disconnected the factory radio harness or disconnected the battery to the vehicle then you must need radio code. Better to purchase a radio code. Before purchase determine of your radio type and do the following steps. The radio must be in LOC mode NOT in INOP mode. Turn the ignition ON. Press and hold presets buttons 2 & 3 or 1 & 4 for approximately 10 seconds. The radio display changes from LOC to a three-digit number. Write this number down. You will then have fifteen seconds max before the next step must be performed. Press the AM/FM button. The radio display changes to another three-digit number. Write this number to the right of the first one. You now have a six or four-digit number, the first three digits are from STEP 3 and the last three digits are from STEP 5. If you have a four digit number, it will show all four digits at the same time. Then purchase the code mentioning your car model and unlock the radio. You can purchase your code from radio-code.com by credit or debit card.

Their is a code inside your owners manual if you have it. IF you do not have it then you can try and follow the step by step guide at the following link.

I have a used unit, need instructions on how to hook it up to a caddy 1995 factory am/fm radio

Are we talking a new deck/stereo or new speakers/subs?
A new deck will require a wiring harness (cheap at walmart or local auto place) and this will come with a set of directions and wiring diagram for your make/model vehicle.
Subs/Speakers can be wired into a stock AM/FM radio (though I have no idea why anyone would want to do this) fairly simply, The wiring diagram will be printed on one side of your stock radio letting you know where to attach the 12v constant, the remote wire, and the speaker wires.

Need reset code for honda radio made by matsushita, model 39100-S10-G500. Serial Number 98G19744

Hi, the rest code can be accessed by writing the radio serial number down and call the closest Honda dealership and ask for the service department. More often than not the mechanic who answers the phone can--after you read the serial number--consult a database and within moments give you the correct code.

Call honda and they will give it to you as soon as you satisfy them that you are the rightful owner of the vehicle. Had to do that with our '04 accord (bought used) when I replaced the battery.

I have a 1999 Cadillac DeVille Concours with an AM/FM/Cassette/CD/RDS Radio. The AM works fine, the FM does not, screen shows digital info(stations like 99.3, etc) but no sound. RDS does not function at...

Hi there,

Well there's lots of possible reasons. The FM receiver portion of the radio is separate from the AM Band receiver, pre-amp, and amplifier sections of the radio. The FM receiver may have simply failed, as well as the CD player portion of the radio. Your car FM needs repair, you need a multimeter to check it or take it to a repair person. Please post further comments for further help or information......

Good Luck!!

Thanks

I need my car radio code, the car is Honda Accord 2003 model

If the radio is factory then you need to remove it to access the serial number. With that you can call your local honda dealer and they can retrieve your code for you.

1. Look in glove box for small sticker with numbers, should be 5 digits with numbers no greater then 6.
2. Pull out the ashtray and see if the sticker is on the back of there.(older models that have them)
3. Pull radio from dash and write down radio serial number and call local dealer with that number and they will be able to get the code for you. They will ask verifying questions.
4. If you happen to have all the books from the dealer look in the 'HONDA SERVICE HISTORY' book, NOT the owners manual. It should be on the first page in the AUDIO CODE box.

try those out, if that doesnt work let me know...
