Copying video clips from the internet onto DVD

hi, you can find free codecs, which are pretty much the descrambler codes to play audio and video, on cnet.com go to downloads section and search for them. look for the free codecs they work the same as any others.
next. your gonna want to convert your videos to Nero Digital (MP-4 format) this makes it less chances of some videos not playing back, and the dvd not playing at all.
then follow steps in nero to convert them,
burn to disk using make your own dvd. just add the converted videos and burn. be sure to remember where you saved the converted videos.

Garmin does not read scandisk 2 gb.

it might be due to the fact that you garmin cannot read AAC music format(the format itunes uses). try using windows media player to rip the CD then put the music on the card using windows media player. this should take care of your issue.

hope this helped.
please rate good.

Deleted document

No you can't the original file has now been replaced.

It's no different from deleting the file in the first place than creating a new document with the same name.

Swaping from 'c drive' to 'd drive'?

Hello,

Print this off first, as you'll have to reboot a couple of times.

Most of your space is taken up by three things.
1.) Your Swap File
2.) The System Restore Files
3.) My Documents Folder

First, Right Click My Computer, select Propertis, choose the System Restore Tab, move the slider to the left so that the current number is reduced by half. You'll be prompted to reboot as you exit out of My Computer

Go ahead and reboot.

Next is your swap file.
Right Click My Computer, select Properties, choose the Advanced Tab, click on the Performance Button, in the Virtual Memory section click on the Change Button. You want to create a Swap File on D, this should be twice the size of your Ram Modules installed. You'll need to make this size on D the same for minimum and maximum (that makes it a permanent swap file). You ALSO need to reduce the size of the swap file on C but it has to be at least 16MB for minimum and maximum.

Now, create a folder on D: called My Documents
Copy all contents of your current My Documents on C: over to the new one on D:
Once you have done this reboot and make certain your files are on D: alright
Now, right click My Documents and type in the text box D:\My Documents

And, reboot

Right click the My Documents folder on your desktop and verify it is now pointing to the D drive.

If it is pointing to the new folder you may delete the My Documents files on c:
You'll find it at C:\Documents and Settings\[your login name]\My Documents. Delete the contents but not the folder.

Now its time to defrag C: as you have all this extra free space.

Best Regards,
Worldvet

Musicmatch

All your data/music are store on your Hard Drive (HD). If you got your old hard drive back, you should able to see all your files. Changing your mainboard doesn't effect what you saved on your HD (pictures, music.....) .

As for the icon for your music, you can dowload and reinstall muscimatch, then all your icon will reappear as you saw them before. With any windows system, certain file are assosciated with certain file. ie word document will have a ".doc" file extentsion. Wonce you reinstall Musicmatch, musicmatch will be your deault player thus having your old icons back.

Its not your CPU speed that burns or Views DVD its the actual player in your computer. You may have a CD player in your computer but can it actually read DVD? can it burn DVD???. If it can then you will need the software to play it back Windows media player wont play back DVD unless you have download the updated codex for it. One of the best software players is InterVideo Win DVD.
