Question about HP DeskJet F380 All-In-One Printer

HP deskjet f340 all in one printer

I have a f340 printer that suddenly acts as if there's no electricity getting to it. If I un-plug the power box then plug it back into the wall socket, the printer lights up, an"E" comes up then it powers down completely. I would think if it is a problem with the power cord/power box that the printer wouldn't "come to life" at all. In your opinion, what do you suggest I do to remedy this?

Its the problem in your adaptor for sure.but before going for the new adaptor please check the jack of the printer where you connect the adaptor is loose or slightly pressed inside or looks any thing like damaged.if not then try in another electric outlet.also try with different power cord wire which you connect in the adaptor the three pin adaptor.that is near about less then 2$ if you want to replace.and if still does not work then its the adaptor you have to replace.that will cost u near to $10.

No you cannot use Cartridge 27 with Hp Deskjet F340 printer. The printer only supports, 21 (black), 22 (color) and 58 (photo). I hope this clears your doubt.

If you need further help, let me know.

Good luck.

I lost the cd to download an HP deskjet F340

Since you lost the installation CD for your printer in order for you to install it to your computer you need to download it from this link and use the software to install it to your computer.

I need to find the grey power cord for my HP Deskjet F340

Computer equipment stores should have those 3 prongs power supply.
Radio shack sells them as well.
It does not have to be gray as long their the same size plugs. 95% at a time they are compatible.

I hope this helps.

HP Deskjet F340 All-in-One Printer

I would say the most likely cause of the issue is either that the printer is no longer functioning or that it is experiencing power issues. Make sure that the printer is plugged in directly to the wall and not into a surge protector or a power strip. The printer does not share power well and pulls it in large amounts - when it can't get it it throws little power fits and sometimes will not turn on at all.

Leave the printer on and then unplug and wait for 30 seconds and then plug in directly to the wall if it isn't already. Try a copy and see if that works.

You have a paper jam. get a torch and thoroughly check doen behind unit where paper goes after removing all paper. Oopen cover, let carriage move, once settled, check everywhere her too, all around, rollers, near carriage, teeth, sides, etc, and remember it can be the tiniest slip easily missed. Good luck.
