fault 7 is a fill fault . If you take the left side panel off you will see a white plastic tank . The sensor in the tank has failed
SOURCE: front light flashing
Solution to the problem:
Discovered that the dishwasher was covered by our household insurance policy. Phoned and arranged for it to be repaired or replaced (no charge). Engineer coming on Friday.

6 flashes indicates water intake fault ie machine is saying it has not filled with water within the required time.
-Check inlet hose not kinked or blocked.
-Next, check inlet valve is OK (check with ohm meter-should read approx 4k ohms). If no circuit thru valve, replace.
-Could also be fault with water indicator switch (much harder to access and diagnose- located underneath sump on right hand side).
-I have also had this occur because of a faulty flow meter. Flow meter measures the volume of water as machine fills. Flow meter is large plastic chamber located on left hand side of machine (accessed by removing left hand side panel). It has a sensor on the bottom with 2 blue wires. Unfortunately again, very hard to test this component without specialist equipment.
Hope this is some help- not sure how technically minded you are, but checking inlet hose for kink/obstruction is a good place to start, then advise calling service technician unless you are a confident DIYer

The machine has a switch inside that activates when a set amount of water is loaded.
If this switch then breaks (switches off) during the wash the machine assumes that the water has leaked out.
Run it through a couple of washes, check for a leak and see how it goes.
Hopefully it will be fine.
F2 indicates a flooded base.
Press and hold the start button until the start light goes out. (This resets the appliance)
Select a new programme and try the machine again.
If it comes up with a fault F2, take the panel off below the door and check for water in the base.
Be careful when you take the panel off, the exposed edges are razor sharp.
Drain any water in the base, reset and try the machine again and watch for a leak through the inspection panel.
