Question about Nikon COOLPIX L3 Digital Camera
1. What does a red blinking hand in right corner of screen stand for?
2.The WB (standard color) has a line through it. what does that mean and how do you turn it back on?
3.The flash wont go off, there is a line through it. what do you do to get it to go off?
I had this same issue. Here's what I found on it in the Coolpix L3 manual:
That hand icon is the "camera shake" indicator, and it will pop up when the flash is off. The other day, I turned off my flash, but somehow it got stuck in that mode and wouldn't respond when I clicked the button to turn the flash back on. Without being able to turn on the flash, anytime I tried to take a photo in regular mode, the camera was warning me, with the hand, that there wasn't enough light and any photo I took would be blurry due to the long shutter speed.
Knowing what to look for now, I put the camera into video mode, then rapid-fire mode, and finally back into regular (green) mode. And suddenly, I was able to click the flash button and turn the flash back on. So that's all it was. Just stuck on my end. You may have had a similar situation, or your flash may be off and you can adjust it.
I hope this helps.
